Night Spinner smh

So not too long ago I heard the semi-exciting news that Eldar were getting a new skimmer via the White Dwarf. So before the info leaks I was speaking to Mobious about how this new tank should not be added to my already crowded heavy support choice slot and guess what? thats exactly what here the next day. I'm sure you all seen that stats and did the math, this night spinner just doesn't cut it. If it is to be competing with the ubiqitous fire prism and falcon. The night spinner drops a a large blast that is one strength stronger then the prism but does not have an alternate firing mode that can threaten mech, BOOOO!. The spinner is slightly better at killing infantry then the prism but the prism is capable of hurting tanks as well. The spinner needs to be able to pop light tanks and be moved to fast attack for me to even consider buying one. The only reason for buying this new kit is for the all plastic fire prism, which is pretty sweet. Thanks for adding insult to injury GW. I'm off to the webway to mourn the untimely shelving of the night spinner where it will join the majority of the Eldar codex.

Week 1 Results, No pics = No Bat Rep?

Well I'm sad to say I did not take any pictures for my first game; it just slipped my mind. I'd rather not write up a report for this game without the pictures(or maybe I'm just lazy). The mission was modified annihilation with 5 objectives that each count for 2 kill points each. I played Adam's blood angels with Mephiston leading the charge with the Death Company right behind in a Land Raider. It was a decisive win for Saim-Hann wild riders, with 22 battle points. Next week I will definitely take some pictures and type up a semi-detailed battle report, after the dust settles. Till then back to the webway to plan our next strike.

Guess whose back? Islyfe thats who. It has been a long time since I updated the blog and I felt its about time I get off my ass and I do something about. Timing could not have been more fitting because the summer league has just kicked off for 40k at Brothers Grim (Selden, NY). I will be posting up battle reports of all my games for the next ten weeks and hopefully for the semi-finals and finals. My first block is a pretty standard eldar list, three fire dragon squads seems kind of over kill at 1500 pts but the Eldar codex doesn't give me many options, *sad face*. Threw in a Fire Prism to to support my two dakka falcons and so my opponents dont deploy in a cluster fuck. While my second block was made in considration of the horde playering nids and orks, apparently there are quite a number of tyranids this time around compared to last fall with a whooping 2 hive fleets. So I will be gettting back to you guys soon with my first battle report against blood angels.
